Errors Which We Encounter

In the preceding chapter, numerical analysis was described as the study and implementation of simplified models. The outcome of this simplified analysis is influenced by several sources which can introduce error into the problem. Errors may be introduced by the model, by measurements, by computational arithmetic, or by previous calculations.
