Mathematics minor, Applied Mathematics minor

Degree description

Math minors are a good choice for majors in a natural or social science seeking significant exposure to mathematics beyond calculus.

Please note, students must meet the minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 to graduate with any major or minor from the department.

Requirements

Minor in Mathematics

1. 16 hours of Mathematics courses at the 200 level or above

Minor in Applied Mathematics

1. Math 211, 212, and 221
2. One of Math 315, 345, 346, or 351
