Research Interests

Some of my research interests include, but are not limited to Natural Language processing, information retrieval, artificial intelligence, semantic webs and medical informatics.

I am also interested in computer networks and have worked in wireless ad-hoc networking.

Last semester, I worked in a project which involved extraction of clinically and scientifically sound articles in the medical domain. We used the supervised learning algorithm, support vector machines (SVM) to classify the articles based on some important keywords. We also added some semantics to get better results.

Currently, I am working on an Interesting EDIT project. I am working on extractiion of structured information from an unstructured medical report.
