Prerequisites: Math 211 or permission of instructor
Grading: Grades will be based on eleven homeworks, three in-class exams and the final exam according to the following weights:
homeworks - 15%
three in class midterms - 15% each (45% total)
final exam - 40%
Midterm exams: There will be three in-class closed-book midterm exams. Tentative dates: Friday: September 25, October 23 and November 20.
Final exam: Friday, December 11, 2009, 4:30pm - 7:00pm, MSC W306
Homework: A number of problems will be assigned once a week. These problems will be graded.
Homework solutions: Here you find solutions of homeworks assigned so far.
Exams: There will be three midterm exams and a final exam (for dates see above). All exams will be closed book. Please note that the date and the time of the final exam cannot be changed.
Honor Code: The Emory Honor Code will be in effect during all exams.
Note: You can bring one legal pad page, containing formulas, to exams.
