Hi, I am Ying Wai Fan. "Ying Wai" is my first name and "Fan" is my last name. My Chinese name is 范英偉. You can call me Daniel, Dan, or Dan Fan. I am also known as the "fast Daniel" in the department.
After finishing my Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, I came to the US for a Master Degree in Mathematics at Wake Forest University. Upon getting that degree, I took a second Master Degree in Computer Science at the same university. I am now pursuig a PhD degree in Mathematics at Emory University.
